Mindy Mitchell

B.A. in English, Boston College
M.A. in Higher Education Administration, Boston College
Project Manager, Enrollment Management, Wentworth Institute of Technology
Former Assistant Director/Associate Director/Director of Admissions, Wentworth Institute of Technology

I have worked with students in the following areas:

I’ve worked with students interested in pursuing higher education in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) fields, students interested in cooperative education, students interested in a liberal arts education, first-generation students, transfer students, students seeking a career focused education, and those who are undecided as to their educational and career goals.

Why I am passionate about college counseling:

I really enjoy working with students and families as they navigate all aspects of the college search process. I’m dedicated to helping students create the strongest possible application—one that highlights their unique strengths and achievements—and ensuring that they are confident and enthusiastic about their college choices. As an English major, I particularly enjoy working with students on their essays and resumes. As a parent who’s also gone through the process firsthand, I can relate to the challenges families face during this exciting (and sometimes stressful) time. I’m committed to partnering with each of my students to provide the support, education, and perspective needed to make the search process a positive and empowering experience.

I enjoy spending time with my three kids and my family. I love yoga, dancing, running, biking, hiking, boating and traveling. When I’m not in motion, I enjoy reading and cooking. My favorite places to escape to are the Adirondacks and the outer cape.
