Former College Counselor at Thurgood Marshall Academy, New York

I have worked with students in the following areas:

My experience has focused on supporting students in finding the right fit for their post-secondary plans. I have worked with students on every aspect of the college application process, including self-exploration, school research, list-making, essay development, application completion, resume building, financial aid applications and everything else in between. I consider myself a professional to-do list maker and I am very focused on keeping my students organized, motivated and on track! I am also experienced in working with first-generation students and families who need extra support through the process.

Why I am passionate about college counseling:

The college process is often more than an application process, it’s an opportunity for students to learn about themselves and develop goals and expectations for their future. I enjoy watching young people grow and develop throughout this journey. My college experience helped shape my life in so many ways and I love to be a part of helping others as they do the same.
