Test Preparation

Getting into the college of your choice is now more competitive than ever.  However, one important piece of the acceptance process that you can control is how well you perform on the mandatory standardized tests.  Adequate preparation is essential to scoring well on standardized tests like the SAT or ACT.

In certain regions, primarily in California and on the East Coast, we offer one-on-one test preparation services through a partnership with the leading SAT tutoring company, Revolution Prep.  As THE leading provider of test prep in California, Revolution Prep has expanded across the United States.  We chose to partner with Revolution Prep because of their proven ability to raise test scores and because of their range of tutoring packages. You could say we share the same philosophy—different students have different needs.

Students are continually assessed through practice exams given either at home or in a proctored simulated SAT environment.  We monitor these test results and develop strategies to improve test scores leading up to the exam date.

By having your SAT tutoring handled by the same company that is helping you in the other aspects of the admissions and financial aid process, you will gain the benefit of having someone oversee all aspects of this process.   If a student is falling short of the average scores of his target schools, or not meeting requirements for a particular scholarship, your Campus Bound counselor will know--and as a result, we can manage the situation accordingly.  Campus Bound is one of the only companies in the entire country that helps families in these three intertwined aspects of the process.
